Nina Eary

My love of miniatures began when my stepmom gave me two books. 'The Borrowers' & 'The Littles'. I spent hours in the garden making miniatures with found objects, like bottle caps, empty thread spools, etc. to make furniture for the little people! We would visit a wonderful miniatures store called Mr. Peepers, & would spend hours looking at all the little treasures. When I grew up, life got in the way & all of it was forgotten, until I was injured on my job as a caregiver, & was unable to work outside of home. I became depressed until I started praying about my situation & the Lord reminded me that He gave me a talent to create.... So, I began making fairy garden items. I started sharing my work on Pinterest and soon, I was contacted by people, asking if I sold my items. I did & it was so fun meeting new people/clients!Then when winter came & no one was gardening, I started making dollhouse miniatures! I wanted to make them as realistic as possible. I started making true to scale dollhouse China. Soon, I was selling them all over the world!I loved making flowers, food, kitchenware and just about everything that goes into a dollhouse! It has been extremely rewarding, albeit challenging, but I get so much joy and fulfillment from seeing my work in my client's mini scenes! Here are some examples of my work
